During December we sent out a festive message to inform our customers of our office opening hours over the Christmas period. This went out to 4,653 of our customers using our new SMS/text technology, which helped determine how many mobile numbers we have and will further help us to communicate via text in the New Year. 

As an incentive for our customers to respond to the text message, we offered a prize draw of £100 in vouchers.

The lucky winner was Mrs Eileen Riddiford who opened the text on Boxing Day without even realising she had entered, she said “I was really surprised when Valleys to Coast rang as I’d forgotten I’d entered as it was so easy. I had the text and a couple of days later clicked the link. It was that easy. I’ve never done something like this before but would definitely do it again, winning is a lovely surprise after Christmas and will help with our shopping”

I’ve visited Eileen and her family today to present her with the £100 vouchers. I was really glad to hear how easy she found the draw entry, she couldn’t even remember doing it, so it must have been seamless!”
